The Finished Product

Hello All! I have just finished writing the complete script or libretto for Modern Family: The Musical! I feel so relieved right now, like I just accomplished the biggest thing in the world. Please feel free to leave a question in the comments that will soon get answered. I feel so amazed at this 74 page wonder of a script! This process is not over, the hardest and longest part is over. Thank you to my family and my dog for supporting me and just simply believing in me that I can do this! Soon, I hope to have auditions once the "Creation Process" is TOTALLY COMPLETE! Then, for my out of town friends and family, you can then watch the show on YouTube! I'm getting super excited about this and can't wait for what comes next!
I'll leave you (my supporters) with one pondering Modern Family Quote (TV Series, Not Musical)

Plot Synopsis

Hello Again! I will now give you a plot synopsis of the show

Modern Family: The Musical

This World Premiere Musical recognizes the characters from ABC's Hit Show Modern Family! Starting out with a school day and transfers to different tasks, Alex is on track competing with another high school student on becoming valedictorian. This Musical is not based off of the most recent episodes of this hit show. Haley and Dylan are back together and are happy together. All Families are getting ready for a big dinner where they will OFFICIALLY have Everybody and be taking pictures at the Pritchett Household. This Musical is lighthearted, funny, and great for lovers of the show and just lovers of theatre in General.

Script Update #1

Hello! I'm Tyler and I decided less than 2 years ago to write Modern Family: The Musical and I got through Act I in a year but I'm still working on Act II, I am on Page 50 and most musicals end at Page 80. So, doing some simple math, I am about more or less than 30 pages away from the finish. I'm really getting excited about the ending. Once I get even closer, I will alert this blog and keep you up to date. Once I finish, I will need some editors so if someone wants to volunteer to edit and revise this that'd be great. I am seeing this whole thing come together. I have written many, many mini scripts (Most I've ever written before: 10-15 pages). In fact I even have a blog showing some of the scripts that I have written (Scripts, Scripts, and More Scripts). This one is going to be super exciting! Even though, I will have some people not able to see this musical when it comes to life, I am hoping to put it on youtube or vimeo! I am so excited!
